SME Knowledge Handbook Launched

As an editor of the "SME Knowledge Handbook", it was a proud moment for me to have the same launched by Hon'ble former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on April 8, 2008 at a simple function at his residence.

The above handbook was a part of SME CEO Knowledge Series, sponsored by ICICI Bank and CyberMedia. Knowledge is the biggest enabler for SMEs. This handbook covers the 8 challenges that SMEs face in the knowledge economy and has insights by a variety of practitioners, academicians and consultants from the SME domains, as to how they could be overcome.

A great project on eLearning using value added content "SME Learning Series" was initiated by the us at SPH Consultancy & eServices Pvt. Ltd.

"ICT for SMEs" was the first CDROM in this direction. This CD will be distributed to all participants of the seminars at various industrial cities and clusters being organised by the MSME Ministry and IT Ministry of GOI and our team.

The CDROM was launched by the Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Sh Dinesh Rai at a "Global SME Partnership Summit" in New Delhi on 29-30, July 2009.
